The posturing, disinformation and outright lies from the Republicans are completely disgusting. One example from the NY Times:

Representative Tom Price, a doctor and Republican from Georgia, says this health care legislation would violate patients’ trust.

“This is a sad day,” Mr. Price says. Those opposed to the bill? “We trust patients and families.” Those opposed? “They trust government.”

In arguing that a no vote would be bipartisan and the right thing to do, Mr. Price says if the bill becomes law: “We lose our morality. We lose our freedom.”

How exactly does this bill violate patients’ trust, vaporize morality and rescind freedom? What a crock of $#1t...

If you listen to the "Hate Talk/Let's Vote Republican" radio format long enough, you eventually believe every word Rush Limbaugh, and his cohorts say.

And it's not like there's anything out there to balance out what he says. That's limited to a few blogs like this one.

We are a 51% / 40% country, with the vast minority living in fear. They are god fearing people- which means that they WANT to believe their leaders and ministers, even when they KNOW they are full of shit. People through history have deliberately done the wrong thing and ignored the facts because they did not want to have to lose some faith, face reality, or feel like they personally made a wrong choice, be it Rush and his rants (bullshit with a silver spoon) or the Pope. They don't like the idea of America as a place where everyone gets to worship what they choose- they DEMAND we all worship from their version of a bible and anyone that disagrees they would, with mob rule intellect, string up and burn.
Be VERY careful around groups of angry people- they lose their ability to think rationally.
