We are a 51% / 40% country, with the vast minority living in fear. They are god fearing people- which means that they WANT to believe their leaders and ministers, even when they KNOW they are full of shit. People through history have deliberately done the wrong thing and ignored the facts because they did not want to have to lose some faith, face reality, or feel like they personally made a wrong choice, be it Rush and his rants (bullshit with a silver spoon) or the Pope. They don't like the idea of America as a place where everyone gets to worship what they choose- they DEMAND we all worship from their version of a bible and anyone that disagrees they would, with mob rule intellect, string up and burn. Be VERY careful around groups of angry people- they lose their ability to think rationally.
