Because it seems that, according to Rebublicans, the only thing more of a threat to our nation than Islamic Jihadi Terrorists are openly gay US servicemen.

The bottom line is that the Republicans are playing to their base and we're the collateral damage. With any luck the Obama Administration will decline to appeal Judge Phillips’s recent ruling that the policy is unconstitutional, and end the nonsense that way.
