It's a nice thought, that simply protesting something will actually change it. It won't hurt, but I don't believe it will change anything.
I am no advocate of violence, but, sooner or later, all the nut jobs with more ammo than sense will come out of the woodwork, and start shootin' up Wallstreet, etc.
Anarchy will follow, and then the real fun will ensue: Food riots, a complete breakdown of our society, neighbors killin' neighbors for the food in their homes, etc.
This ALL fall under the category of: "God, I hope it won't ever actually come to that."
But the rich have been standing on the backs of the middle class and poor for a very long time... something must give, and soon.
At the Occupy SR protest we went to yesterday one man said it well - we protested and changed political policy in the 60s, we can do it again. Something to think about...
