Who is your all time favorite musical artist, be it a band or solo artist?

What is it about he/she/them that appeals to you?

The band and solo artist can be a seperate answer I hope!
Band, naturally is The Beatles
Artist is Elvis Costello

These can vary from Day to Day, as Steely Dan, the Ramones and Roxy Music can all spin in or out of the Top Spot depending on what I am listening to.

Ask Away, y'all.

Figures.

Since your accomplishments are seldom noticed,
and you are rarely thought of, you are expendable.
That doesn't mean your job isn't important but if you
were in Star Trek you would be killed off in the first
episode you appeared in.

[info]dorisduke wanted to ask: what is the last thing you want us to know about you?

That I am painfully shy and suffer from chronic depression, probably.

Then [info]andybr asked: What is that on your head?

That is a skullcap made from flash cotton. It took three attempts to catch the flame in the picture, as the cotton burns in - literally - a flash. It felt like someone shot a blast of hair-dryer hot air at me as we tried to get the right image.

Finally, [info]technocyberbot said "Might as well ask you about common interest then..." Are you usually or always the more Dominant or submissive in you bdsm relationships, and do you carry that mindset into your everyday life in how you deal with others?

Submissive, and yes, I tend to be that way in my everyday life. On the other hand, I am an opinionated man and can be forcefully as well as fiercely loyal in protecting my friends.

March means that it's...

Ask Me Anything Month!

That means that you can ask me any question and I'll do my best to answer it in a separate post.

Ask your question here. All comments are screened. I'll assume it's OK to unscreen it and identify you in my reply unless you tell me otherwise.

Tough call, but probably "Tug Of War." I was in college at the time and that was the album paul released in response to the assassination of John Lennon. It helped sooth me through that year of studies. Along with Costello's "Armed Forces," probably the two albums I played most through my 4 years of college.

What snack cakes are you fond of? Courtesy of [info]maxauburn!

I have a major weakness for Tastykakes. Espedcially TastyClaires and the baked pies.
I feel like I am letting local industry down if I don't snag one when I am in a Wawa.

Are you actively trying to find a boyfriend/Master/playpartner right now? Just curious.

Joel is always going to be my Daddy Bear. But that doesn't rule out a Master, play partner and new friends. Both Joel and I are open in the relationship we have.

Day 26. A song that you can play on an instrument

"Oh Susannah" on harmonica.

Day 27. A song that you wish you could play.

Not that I wish I could play this song, but that if I was a guitarist, I was anywhere near as good as Al DiMeola (and he was quite a looker back in the day).
